Eva Longoria Hit with Loan Shark Lawsuit
Making for more bad news, Eva Longoria has been hit with a lawsuit stemming from allegations of an unfair loan by the actress to the parent company of her Beso eatery.
According to TMZ, the “Desperate Housewives” actress has been named in legal papers filed by Mali Nachum asking for more that $4 million in damages.
Apparently, Eva dished out a $1 million loan to the company behind Beso – with the interest rate being so high that it racked up $4.6 million in just two years.
Nachum tells that the deal is in violation of California law – which has led him to request the $4 million in damages.
With the case filed at LA Superior Court on Monday (January 10), Miss Longoria’s camp has yet to respond to the allegations.
